Private park tours may be pricier than going solo, but they allow you to experience all the top locations without the hassle of parking, restroom searches, or finding good dining options. We had an incredible day exploring Acadia with our guide Pete. He picked us up right at our hotel and took us to all the must-see spots, including the summit of Cadillac Mountain. Throughout the tour, Pete shared a wealth of information about the park's history and was happy to answer our questions. He even provided us with reference books about the local flora. We enjoyed a tasty lunch (which wasn't included) during the tour, and Pete also supplied water and snacks. Attempting this trip on our own would not have given us the same experience. I strongly recommend booking a tour with Pete and his team.
