Reviews
The lobster rolls were fantastic. Sean provided a wealth of information and had a great sense of humor. The scenery was stunning, and I felt safe throughout the entire journey.
The tour was fantastic! Austin was friendly and well-informed, making it feel like a casual walk with an old friend. The lobster roll was outstanding, and I even picked up a lovely bottle of Amarena Cherry Balsamic from a local oil and vinegar store. I highly recommend this tour, and don’t forget to try the pineapple pimento sorbet on your way out.
Austin was an excellent guide. The tour provided a wealth of historical insights, included visits to a library and a museum, and ended with time to enjoy a lobster roll and ice cream. It was a fantastic way to spend a few hours in Bar Harbor.
We had a fantastic time on our walking tour, discovering the town's history as we explored. Our guide, Austin, was friendly and well-informed. Despite my foot injury, he maintained a comfortable pace for our small group. Although the lobster roll cafe was closed, the replacement spot was excellent, and the fudge and ice cream were delightful.
The guide was pleasant, but overall, I found the tour to be underwhelming. I've experienced food tours in cities like Boston, Portland (OR), Portland (ME), and New York, and this one didn't measure up. However, I did value the guide's insights into Bar Harbor and its history.
The city tour was fantastic, combining a pleasant walk and engaging conversation. The timing for the meal was just right, and it was nice to enjoy a full meal instead of just sampling from various locations.
