Catherine delivered a fantastic walking tour of Bar Harbor, touching on its history, culture, and fishing economy. Her enthusiasm for history and storytelling shone through at every turn. I highly recommend this experience.
The walking tour in Bar Harbor was enjoyable. It was fun to learn about the town and park's history from an informed guide. Despite the unfavorable weather, I had a wonderful time.
Catherine led a fantastic introductory tour of Bar Harbor, making it an ideal way for us to get familiar with the town and discover must-see spots. As a long-time local, her insights into Bar Harbor's history were particularly engaging. Catherine was not only friendly but also helpful, readily addressing all our questions.
Catherine was an excellent guide who showed us the sights and helped us navigate the area. She provided plenty of historical insights about Bar Harbor, the island, and Acadia National Park, along with fantastic suggestions for dining and shopping. An outstanding tour at an amazing value.
The tour was unexpectedly cancelled at the last minute by the operator for medical reasons, meaning we couldn't participate. We received no information from them. Goodbye and have a nice day.
Catherine was excellent and shared a wealth of knowledge about Bar Harbor's history. I appreciated that this was a brief 1.5-hour walking tour. It allowed us to connect more with the town compared to a bus tour.
We had a great time on the tour, delving into the history of the town. Catherine demonstrated extensive knowledge and shared plenty of interesting facts. Having grown up visiting, she provided a genuine local perspective. We would have missed exploring the side streets and their historical significance without her. It was truly enjoyable.
This experience was a complete disappointment. We informed Catherine that we were coming from a cruise ship and needed to reach the meeting spot, but she only provided a location name in Bar Harbor, leaving us confused. Despite reaching out to her via text and call while on our way, we received no assistance. When we arrived about 15 minutes late, she was absent and did not answer our calls or respond to texts. Catherine ignored all our attempts to communicate, and we were denied a refund for a tour we never had, even though we tried our best to make it. I strongly advise against booking this tour.
The tour guide was excellent, showcasing extensive knowledge about Bar Harbor. We appreciated strolling through the area, viewing the homes, and listening to the fascinating stories.
This tour was fantastic and well-paced, thanks to the knowledgeable Catherine. I had to change my original tour date due to a flight delay, and she was very accommodating. Communication was excellent both before and during the tour. The itinerary included several interesting houses and points of interest, such as the last residence of the Hope Diamond. Overall, it provided a wonderful introduction to BH and its history.
