• Tipu Sultan Fort and Palace is a two-story structure made completely of teakwood that now serves as a museum, showcasing intricately carved pillars, arches, and balconies. • The location hosts a diverse range of over a thousand plant species. A glass house inspired by England's Crystal Palace, which commemorates the visit of the Prince of Wales, is also situated here. • Initially named Meade’s Park after Sir John Meade, the acting Commissioner of Mysuru in 1870, this park was later renamed Cubbon Park in honor of Sir Mark Cubbon, the longest-serving commissioner, in recognition of Sri Krishnaraja Wodeyar’s Silver Jubilee in 1927. • The High Court operates from a red brick structure known as Attara Kacheri, located in front of Vidhana Soudha, the headquarters of the Karnataka legislature. The Karnataka High Court also has operations in Bangalore, Hubli-Dharwad, and Gulbarga. • The two-story Attara Kacheri houses the Karnataka High Court and was constructed in 1867 during Tipu Sultan's rule. Due to the expansion of the Revenue and General Secretariat's eighteen departments, there was a necessity for office space outside the palace. • Built by Rev. Garrett, the inaugural principal of the Central High School, now named Central College, the journey will continue past the High Court, Cubbon Park, and Vidhana Soudha to view these notable buildings. Please be aware that Bangalore Palace is not open on Mondays.
