You will spend a couple of hours in this three-story stone structure featuring marble domes and a 145 ft tower, touring the Public Hall, Private Hall, Dolls Pavilion, and Royal Wedding Hall. • Next, we will head to Devraja Market, an appealing historic bazaar in Mysore, filled with a variety of flowers, vegetables, fruits, jaggery, onions, potatoes, puffed rice, and coconuts. • The tour also includes a visit to St. Philomena Church, which was initially known as St. Joseph Chavez. Constructed in 1840, the church underwent expansion in 1933 during the reign of Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV. Built to serve the European community in Mysore at the time, it is now recognized as the second largest church in Asia. • Guests can choose between visiting Somnathpur or Srirangapatna (Dariya Daulat Bagh & Bailey Dungeon) by indicating their preference in the booking remarks. Somnathpur is known for the remarkable Chennakesava Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site built in 1268 by Somanatha, a general of King Narasimha III. The visit will include exploring the three shrines and intricately carved peaks, along with acknowledging the 16 unique ceilings, each representing a stage of a blooming banana flower, and walls adorned with images of deities wearing jewelry, bangles, crowns, and anklets.
