• Please be aware: During this tour, we will visit one of the two temples mentioned — ISKCON Temple or the Bull Temple. Entering the ISKCON Temple with the knowledgeable guide, you are greeted by an imposing atmosphere characterized by towering gopurams and radiant domes that sparkle in the sunlight. The expansive courtyards resonate with the sounds of kirtans, surrounded by the scent of incense and devoted individuals moving in a harmonious manner, creating a lively yet tranquil environment. Standing before the sanctum of Lord Krishna, you feel a unique calm envelop you, as the city's chaos dissipates into a moment of spiritual presence. • Upon reaching Bangalore Palace, your guide will escort you around its walls adorned with ivy, turreted towers, and arched windows, highlighting features that reflect the Wodeyar’s admiration for English architectural style. You may pause to admire the commanding exterior, where the battlements and balconies share a tale of power and prestige influenced by European design while rooted in Bangalore’s royal history. On this tour, you'll view the palace's exterior, appreciating its dignified presence and architectural allure. Please take note: Bangalore Palace does not operate on Mondays. On such occasions, we will instead visit Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace. • In front of the grand Vidhana Soudha, you will learn how Karnataka became home to India’s largest state legislature building, with its granite and marble exterior showcasing a blend of various Indian architectural styles symbolizing democracy. As you move through its impressive structure, it becomes apparent that this is more than just a monument; it is a vibrant institution of governance, framed by statues honoring India's leaders and ideals. Turning to look across the road, you will see the striking Pompeian-red Attara Kacheri, a 1868 Greco-Roman style building now serving as the High Court of Karnataka, its dignified structure contrasting with the modern seat of power. • As you stroll through the historic Lalbagh Botanical Garden, founded in 1760, you find yourself amidst one of India’s richest collections of tropical and rare trees, each bearing a legacy of centuries of horticultural history. Your guide will lead you past the distinguished Glass House, inspired by London’s Crystal Palace and completed in 1889, and towards the only national monument in Bangalore, where the garden's past intertwines with that of the city. With each step, you discover how Bangalore transformed from a modest settlement into a bustling center of trade, conflict, culture, and eventually, the global hub of IT it is today. • Please note: On this tour, we will visit either the Bull Temple or the ISKCON Temple. Upon entering the Big Bull Temple with the guide, you will immediately notice the impressive sight of the enormous granite bull—its polished, dark surface reflecting centuries of ritual anointing. The atmosphere is filled with the fragrance of incense and the soft sounds of prayers, as devotees walk around the sanctum with quiet respect. Here, the bull represents not just a companion to Lord Shiva, but is worshipped as the deity himself, revered since the late medieval period. As you approach the sanctum, you may have the rare opportunity to enter the inner shrine and receive a personal blessing from the priest. In that intimate time, the buzz of the city fades, replaced by a profound awareness of faith, continuity, and the ongoing vibrancy of Hindu tradition. • Stepping into the century-old MTR, you enter a landmark of Bangalore’s culinary heritage, where each corner resonates with history and tradition. Guided past the lineup of waiting diners, you bypass the queues to enjoy a carefully curated feast featuring around 20 distinct South Indian vegetarian dishes, with each dish presenting a blend of rich flavors, textures, and aromas. Each mouthful reveals why the cuisine here is more than mere sustenance; it forms an essential element in the tapestry of your Indian journey. Please note: MTR is not open on Mondays. On such
