A ten-minute gondola ride takes you to the summit of Sulphur Mountain, offering expansive views over Banff National Park and six mountain ranges. At 2,281 metres (7,486 feet), you can navigate the boardwalk, visit the interpretive building, and dine at the summit while soaking in the scenery.
Throughout the year, various experiences enhance your visit. From April to May, the Bloom & Brunch event features live entertainment and spring festivities, with an optional brunch buffet available. During the summer months, the Sunset Festival adds live music and snacks to your mountain experience, while the Mountaintop Christmas, from November to December, brings holiday cheer with vintage activities and festive surprises at the summit.

We initially encountered snow and overcast skies on our way to the gondola, planning to reschedule for another day. However, once we arrived, the sun appeared, revealing stunning views of Banff by the time we reached the summit. The weather was unpredictable, but we captured some amazing photos. The staff were excellent, eager to share their knowledge.
The journey to the mountain summit was exceptionally smooth, thanks to the excellent and cheerful staff who were also very efficient. We even boarded a few minutes ahead of schedule! Although the weather wasn't ideal, it was still a wonderful experience.
