The guides were attentive to every detail and timed everything perfectly to secure ideal viewing spots for the sunrise, allowing us front-row seats to stunning views. The landscape was captivating, and the volcano was quite impressive. We were also brought to excellent locations for taking beautiful photos. Fortunately, our guide suggested we go to Seruni Peak instead, and it did not disappoint. The views were breathtaking, and we experienced the sunrise in a much calmer atmosphere. The trek itself was quite manageable and entirely worth the early wake-up. Witnessing the sun rise over the volcanic landscape was enchanting. A special mention goes to our guide, Alfa, who enhanced our experience significantly. He was exceptionally polite, shared engaging stories about Indonesian culture while we waited for the sunrise, and took extra effort to help us capture beautiful family photos. I highly recommend this experience—if possible, follow your guide's suggestions to explore less conventional spots.
