Ferdy, my guide, was fantastic. He had a deep understanding of Indonesia’s history and shared a wealth of information with me. He ensured I had a great day, taking care to highlight things he thought would interest me. I truly couldn't be happier with my decision to take this tour.
Our guide Ine was knowledgeable and went above and beyond in explaining not only the itinerary but also aspects of Indonesian and Jakarta culture, including great recommendations for food that were very helpful.
Enok served as an excellent guide, sharing extensive knowledge about her country. Our driver, Indra, navigated through heavy traffic and a rainstorm safely. We visited various fascinating sights that showcased Indonesian culture, all while accommodating our schedule from the cruise ship. This was a fantastic way to enjoy our time in Jakarta.
We arranged a private half-day tour of Miniature Park Jakarta to explore Indonesia in an educational manner. The park is beautiful, with a museum that could easily occupy hours, given the time. However, due to an unexplained reason, the itinerary required us to visit many sights in a limited timeframe, leading to significant time spent in the car and enduring traffic jams, resulting in only a brief glimpse of the planned locations. Although we focused on the miniature park, we didn't have enough time to see everything thoroughly. Our guide, Situ, along with the driver, provided a wealth of knowledge and were pleasant company, making our day in Jakarta truly memorable.
Traveling as a family of five, we had a fantastic half-day tour of Jakarta with our guide Fitri and driver Wawan. They managed to fit a lot into our time, including visits to the wayang shadow puppet maker, the national monument, old Batavia, Pelabuhan Sunda Kelapa, and Taman Mini. The private nature of the tour allowed us to spend extra time at the puppet studio, where we learned about the puppet-making process. It's fascinating that wayang puppetry is recognized as a UNESCO heritage. Fitri's extensive knowledge of Jakarta's history and culture, particularly during the Dutch colonial period, greatly enriched our experience. She was also very friendly and welcoming. Wawan's driving skills were truly impressive amidst the bustling Jakarta traffic. This tour is ideal for anyone looking for a quick overview of Jakarta in a limited timeframe. I highly recommend it.
This was an enjoyable tour. The guide and driver were excellent, providing plenty of historical insights and interesting facts. I would definitely recommend this experience.
Haidar was a fantastic guide. He shared that the “Miniature” park was established by Suharto for his wife after she went to Disneyland. The park features typical houses from various Indonesian regions and islands, much like Epcot at Disney World but focused on Indonesia. At our request, we visited a puppet maker who demonstrated how the renowned Indonesian shadow puppets are crafted. We also made brief stops at the Old Town, Independence Monument, and more. The flexibility of this private tour, in contrast to the cruise line's bus tours, along with the lower price, makes it a far superior choice. During our visit in Ramadan, the access road to the port was congested, forcing us to walk the last half-mile to the ship past numerous halted tractor-trailers loaded with cargo containers.
An outstanding tour that really matched our expectations. The quality was exceptional, and both our guide and driver were incredibly helpful. Highly recommended.
I participated in the cultural tour of Indonesia, which included visits to all the key sites and attractions in Jakarta. Ivan was an outstanding tour guide, and my driver, Cek, was also great. I strongly recommend this tour for anyone keen to explore Indonesia's history and culture.
This tour offers a fantastic opportunity to delve into Indonesia's captivating culture. In just one day, we gained a wealth of insights about the country’s rich history, both past and present. A special thanks to our friendly and knowledgeable guide, Fitri. There were three of us traveling for business, and this was our only free day before work began. It provided an excellent way to grasp the culture, especially as it was our first visit to Indonesia coming from the United States. The private format was perfect, allowing us to ask many questions and deepen our understanding of our surroundings.
