Our experience with Tripedia was excellent. We booked through the TripAdvisor site and quickly coordinated our pickup time and location, including a special request for pickup from ParkRoyal hotel. The pickup was timely and uneventful. Ivan, our guide, had extensive knowledge about the Botanic Garden and expertly answered all our questions. The waterfall was lovely, and he was able to direct us to the best swimming spots. Lunch in the rice paddy field was quite tranquil. We enjoyed the trip in a private car with Ivan and our driver, without any other guests. I highly recommend this experience.

I had an excellent experience with my guide Ivan and driver Elun. The air-conditioned vehicle was comfortable, and they picked me up from the airport during my layover. It was a fantastic way to explore some sights outside the city. The waterfall and the monkeys were the highlights, along with a peaceful lunch in the Rice Fields. Ivan spoke very good English, which made for enjoyable conversation during the drive. I highly recommend this tour. To fully enjoy the waterfall, I suggest wearing a swimsuit under your clothes and shoes that can get wet. The lighting wasn’t perfect, but it was still a delightful outing.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Bogor Botanical Garden, where I was playfully interrupted by local school children for an interview for their project, which resulted in delicious fried banana treats. The jungle hike to the jackfruit waterfall was a highlight, with plenty of monkeys along the path. I even got caught in the rain while walking through the expansive rice fields, and we took a break for a second lunch of tempeh after our first, which was Bakso.
Driving from Jakarta to Bogor for a multi-faceted adventure was a delightful experience. Ivan was an excellent guide, and Mr. Man the driver was incredibly helpful. I really enjoyed learning about the history of puppet making and even purchased some masks.

The day was truly remarkable and surpassed what we had hoped for: the botanical gardens were stunning, the waterfall walk thrilling (don't forget your flip-flops, but they can be bought on-site), the monkey family was charming, the rice fields were tranquil, and the lunch amidst the fields was delightful.

The rice fields and lunch were enjoyable. I noticed tourists abseiling at the waterfall; perhaps that could be an option for future tours.
