Taman Safari Bogor, also known as the Bogor Safari Park, is an expansive wildlife conservation park set in the lush hills near Bogor, approximately 60 kilometres from Bandung. Established in 1986, this drive-through safari features over 2,500 animals from around the world, including species native to Indonesia, displayed in a naturalistic environment that resembles their habitat.
Plan for a half-day visit to fully appreciate the various exhibits and animal shows. Mornings are ideal for spotting active wildlife, especially during feeding times. The park is conveniently located near other attractions like the Puncak Pass, making it easy to explore the mountainous region afterwards.
