We enjoyed an excellent tour of Baltimore with Ira. He was incredibly knowledgeable, providing us with many insights about "Charm" City. He was also very friendly and attentive throughout the experience.
I highly recommend this tour for an authentic understanding of Baltimore's rich heritage and culture. Our guide, Ira, excelled at making the experience both enlightening and enjoyable. I was surprised to learn how many notable firsts originated from Baltimore.
We had a wonderful time on the private tour. Ira was a standout guide, making our visit exceptional. As my husband is from Baltimore, we aimed to truly explore the city, and Ira exceeded our expectations with his extensive knowledge and passion. This tour was engaging, and we highly recommend it. We look forward to trying other tours during our next visit.
Ira provided an excellent tour of Baltimore, offering a comprehensive overview that prepares you for exploring the individual sites later on your own. Fort McHenry is definitely a highlight. It's best to take this tour on your first morning to familiarize yourself with the city.
We went on this tour with a group of nine friends and family, and despite the rain, everyone had a wonderful time. Even though many of us are from Maryland, we appreciated seeing Baltimore from a fresh perspective. Ira's love for the city was evident, and we learned about attractions we had never encountered before—several have now made it onto our must-see list. The driving tour was well-paced, allowing us to explore the city without excessive walking or concerns about the rain. Ira's enthusiasm made the experience engaging and fun. We will definitely join this company for another tour. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a simple yet informative introduction to Baltimore.
Living in Maryland my whole life, I realized how little I knew about Baltimore, the state’s key city. On a Saturday in December 2024, I took a tour with Ira, the owner of I Love Baltimore Personal Tours, and his knowledge was impressive. I've been casually sharing facts I learned from him, as if I were an expert. The tour was laid-back as we explored several neighborhoods, but I definitely want a second round to see more. As a real estate enthusiast, it was fascinating to observe the variety of architectural styles, from historic to modern. I highly recommend I Love Baltimore Personal Tours to anyone wanting an authentic learning experience about Charm City. I would gladly go again with the same group—everything felt great. I'm also interested in their other tours. The only downside was that we couldn't get a snowball from Ice Queen in Locust Point since they were closed, but I can’t fault Ira for that. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
Ira provided an outstanding tour of Baltimore, sharing detailed information about each neighborhood we visited and highlighting the numerous museums scattered across the city.
We enjoyed an amazing cultural van tour of Baltimore with three teenage boys and two adults, and it was truly memorable. The van setup, with no walking involved, made it very comfortable for our group. The tour was well-organized, engaging, and packed with information. We visited various neighborhoods and gained insights into Baltimore’s rich history, culture, and local narratives—much more than a standard tourist experience offers. Our guide was exceptional—knowledgeable and humorous, managing to keep the teens engaged throughout, which isn't easy. I highly recommend this tour for families or anyone seeking a more profound and hassle-free exploration of real Baltimore. It was definitely a highlight of our trip.
This experience was the standout moment of our three days in Baltimore. We took the tour on our first day, and it served as an excellent orientation. Everything ran seamlessly, with a warm welcome and fascinating commentary. Most importantly, our guides Keisha and Mark were wonderful; we shared so many laughs throughout the tour that we were genuinely sad when it ended. That's truly the best experience you can offer visitors to a new city. I would give it six stars if possible.
We arranged this tour on the same morning, and it was fantastic with Ira as our guide. He shared many interesting facts about Baltimore that we were previously unaware of. Ira was accommodating with the pickup location and assisted my parents in getting into the van. I will certainly book again with this tour company, as they provide a variety of options, including murals, churches, and Catholic tours.
