Ira, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about Baltimore, and we gained valuable insights during the tour. He also provided us with many excellent suggestions for our remaining time in the city.
Steve guided us through Baltimore, but much of his commentary revolved around restaurants, often reading their signs. He noted features like seating options and eco-friendly menus. Occasionally, he shared some historical details or personal anecdotes from his childhood in the city. While there were some interesting points, the tour lacked substantial historical information.
The tour included just four participants, and our guide, Ira, was exceptional. He was very engaging and shared a wealth of knowledge about Baltimore's history. He took us to various spots, highlighting eateries and providing historical context. The tour concluded at Fort McHenry, which was great. The only issue I faced was not being able to tip Ira due to a lack of change.
Steve served as an excellent tour guide, demonstrating extensive knowledge. We explored various parts of Baltimore, and I wouldn't have discovered many things had I attempted it on my own.
Initially, we were hesitant to visit Baltimore due to negative impressions, but we're incredibly happy we joined the "I Love Baltimore Neighborhood Tour." In just 90 minutes, we gained so much knowledge, thanks to Ira's insights. After the tour, we returned to visit some of the spots we saw. We've already made plans to return! Thank you for a safe and enlightening experience.
Steve is an excellent guide—he's personable and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.
The guide provided a wealth of information, and as a Maryland native returning after over 50 years, I discovered some interesting new facts.
Steve was a fantastic tour guide. He provided clear explanations of the sites, and the journey was very relaxed. I highly recommend this tour.
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it. Ira was a wonderful guide, sharing numerous fascinating facts and historical insights about Baltimore. If you're visiting, consider doing this tour early on to get a good overview and receive suggestions for sites to explore further, along with some restaurant recommendations. Ira offers various tours, and I look forward to joining another one during my next visit.
The visitor center is beautiful, but the tour wasn't very interactive. We traveled in a clean, comfortable vehicle, and our guide, Steve, highlighted landmarks from the windows.
