I had an amazing experience on this day tour, which was one of the best I've ever been on. Nataly, our guide, exceeded our expectations as she led our private group of four friends to the ghost town on the Turkish side of the Cypriot border. Arranging our pick-up was hassle-free, and she guided us through the abandoned city at our own pace. We learned a great deal about the city's history and explored many parts. Additionally, we visited the walled city and the Roman ruins at Salamis, and concluded our day with a fantastic lunch that offered stunning views of the city. Nataly was an excellent driver, making our day with her truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour in Cyprus.
This was my first experience in Cyprus. Although Nataly was unwell, her colleague Marios took over and proved to be very knowledgeable about the island's extensive history, reaching back to French and Venetian times. Marios treated us to local pastries in the morning and even made a stop for me to buy baklava to bring home. It felt more like making a friend than merely meeting a tour guide. I appreciated the opportunity to see so many fascinating sites and to learn not just about them, but also about Cyprus and Marios himself. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone, whether traveling solo or in a group.
