Booking this solo trip was a fantastic decision. Our guide, Moe, and the other passengers made me feel very welcome. As a vegetarian, I was initially wary about the Salt Lick BBQ stop, but the vegetable plate and cobbler were delicious and generously portioned. We dined outside among the trees, and the staff were friendly. We visited three wineries, and the beautiful scenery along the way was remarkable. The tasting at Driftwood Estates was top-notch, with a fun and friendly staff, plus breathtaking views of the hill country. At Wimberly Winery, we enjoyed wine and snacks on the patio, which offered a tranquil, Tuscan-inspired atmosphere. Our final stop was at Duchman Family Winery, where I indulged in wine-infused sherbet and truffles while relaxing at picnic tables overlooking the vineyard. Moe was excellent, keeping us informed and on schedule, and he even remembered that I arrived on my own, guiding me on when to order my return Uber to minimize sun exposure. This tour surpassed my expectations. Even as someone who isn’t into BBQ or heavy wine drinking, there were plenty of options to make it worthwhile, resulting in an amazing adventure. I would definitely recommend this experience.
