The guide was excellent at addressing all of our inquiries, even the off-topic ones about other cities, which made for an informative and engaging experience.
Mike was fantastic; he had a wealth of knowledge and a friendly demeanor. His narration truly brought the locations we explored to life.
This historical trip was an enjoyable dive into the early 1800s, focusing on the Alamo and the origins of Texas. I appreciated learning about San Antonio, especially since my dad grew up there and I had never visited before. The Tower of the Americas and the riverboat cruise were also nice. Our guide, Jess, was excellent, and with only one other person on the tour, it felt very personal; we connected as if we were old friends. I'm from Hawaii, and the other participant was from the UK. A standout moment was stopping for authentic Tex-Mex at Mesquite, where we had delicious street tacos and quesadillas. I think it would have been great to visit one of the riverwalk restaurants too. I was truly saddened when the experience ended and could have easily spent more time with the two ladies. I would highly recommend this adventure.
This tour was fantastic, made even better by our knowledgeable and thoughtful guide, Mike. I had a wonderful day and highly recommend this experience to others.
The trip was comfortable and accommodating, but I wouldn't choose to do it again. I would have preferred to spend more time at the riverwalk and enjoy a sit-down lunch.
A great introduction to San Antonio. Ideal for those staying in Austin without a vehicle and who have not previously visited San Antonio.
We are very pleased to have participated in this tour. Our guide did a fantastic job ensuring everything ran smoothly, offering fascinating insights and effectively explaining Texas history to us.
The tour started off a bit rocky due to a marathon blocking access to the central meeting point. However, after communicating with our tour operators, I contacted our guide who directed us to a new location for a meet-up. Despite the initial delay, we managed to visit all scheduled stops and received plenty of insightful information. The guide also recommended additional attractions to explore during our stay, and we completed the tour within the 7-hour timeframe.
Mike was an excellent driver, very fun, and incredibly knowledgeable. He even managed to avoid a golf ball that was heading straight for his windshield. I hope to see him again.
The bus or van provided a comfortable and clean experience. Our guide, Mike, showcased great knowledge and experience regarding the history and culture of the sites we explored. I would definitely recommend this driving tour to San Antonio to others.
