Pickup is available only from hotels in Aurangabad. Transfers from railway stations are not included. • Pickup from your accommodation in Aurangabad will occur early at either 0600hrs or 0700hrs. A chauffeur will meet you at your hotel to begin the journey to the Ajanta caves, which takes about 2 hours. Upon arrival at the Ajanta caves parking area, a shuttle bus will be required to access the entrance, where tickets can be purchased. Explore the Ajanta caves for a few hours, then return to the parking area via the same shuttle bus before proceeding to the Ellora caves, which is another journey of approximately 2 hours. • Upon arrival at the Ellora caves, you can spend 2 to 3 hours exploring them. The Kailasa Temple, known as Cave 16 at Ellora, is the main highlight. This temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and designed to resemble his sacred home at Mount Kailash, covers an area twice the size of the Pantheon in Athens and stands one and a half times taller. Noteworthy are the life-size elephant sculptures found there. It is remarkable that both the Ajanta and Ellora caves were created using only hand tools. After your exploration, you will return to Aurangabad and arrive by 6 PM. The driver will then take you to the airport or railway station. If you plan to spend the night in Aurangabad, you will be dropped off at your hotel. NOTE: It is advised that travelers arriving by flight and needing to return to the airport promptly at the end should refrain from booking this tour.
