Driving the Beach Buggy in Astoria, OR was an incredible experience. Initially, we planned to walk around the town and visit nearby Seaside, but the Uber cost was over $100 and we faced a lengthy wait. Fortunately, we found Jared from Oregon Buggy Excursions and rented his buggy for the day, which turned out to be the highlight of our trip. We visited the Lewis and Clark’s End of the Trail Monument in Seaside, enjoyed shopping and eating there. Following Jared's advice, we drove along the beach on our return, which is something we can't do in California. We also saw the remains of the historic Peter Iredale Shipwreck and received friendly waves from passersby. We discovered the Goonies house and enjoyed stunning 360-degree views from the Astoria Column. A refreshing drink at Astoria Brewing was the perfect end before returning the buggy to Jared at our cruise ship. The rental process was quick and easy, taking under five minutes.
