• Lawrence Springs - This site, mentioned by T.E. Lawrence in "Seven Pillars of Wisdom," is a natural spring in a red rocky desert. Camels often visit this spring, which flows from the mountains into the valleys. It is a small oasis with dwarf trees and shimmering moss, with alternatives for hiking up the mountain to enjoy stunning views and various Thamudic inscriptions. • Red Sand Dune - A vast area of Red Sand Dunes located near impressive mountains. Climbing the dunes provides a challenging workout, while descending them can be quite enjoyable. Notable for its red hue from high iron oxide content, the views at the summit offer stunning panoramas of the surrounding valley. • Khazali Canyon - This area has a prominent split in the red sandstone and showcases an array of ancient rock art. It is well-known for its excellent petroglyphs in Jordan, including footprints left by historic pilgrims and traders. As you explore the canyon, you can see various petroglyphs depicting people, animals, and inscriptions from different historical periods. • Little Arch - A naturally formed bridge-shaped structure that overlooks Khor al Ajram and is considered a key attraction in Wadi Rum. Formed through years of harsh weather, this easily accessible arch provides remarkable views worth the minor climb. • Lawrence’s house - A Nabatean stone structure that served as the residence of T.E. Lawrence, notable for his time there during World War I and his descriptions in "The Seven Pillars of Wisdom." A short climb leads you to the site where stone piles mark ancient Bedouin trails, accompanied by a sweeping vista of the desert. A shaded spot will be found for lunch, where tea will also be served. • Mushroom Rock - Known as a pedestal rock, this natural formation resembles a mushroom due to erosion that has shaped its upper part more quickly than the base. It's an ideal location for photographs and provides some shade from the sun. • Burdah Rock Bridge - A significant rock formation, this is one of the largest stone archways in Wadi Rum, offering expansive views of the desert and surrounding mountains. The jeep tour includes a stop for a closer look at the rock bridge, without a trek to its peak. • Abu Khashaba Canyon - This one-kilometer hike through a narrow desert canyon features yellow sand formations and wild bushes, making it a visual treat within the Wadi Rum protected area. Surrounded by steep mountain walls, the walk allows you to observe birds and diverse vegetation. Your guide will meet you at the end after a 45-minute trek. • Um Frouth Rock Arch - One of the most photographed spots in Wadi Rum, this area involves a 20-meter ascent that takes about 20 minutes for a round trip, providing stunning valley views. It may be slightly more challenging for tourists compared to locals, but it’s a great place for photos. • Cow Rock - This natural rock formation is characterized by a round top and two legs. It offers a unique vantage point of the desert, shaped by natural erosion over time, particularly from wind and rain. • Um Sabatah - As sunset approaches, your guide will take you to the Um Sabatah area for a view of this captivating scene. Bedouin tea is brewed over a fire while you admire the expansive outlook. You can relax on the sand or on a mattress as the sun sets. • Afterward, return to the campsite for an overnight stay in the heart of the Wadi Rum UNESCO area. Enjoy a traditional buffet dinner cooked using desert sand methods, and spend the night in a Bedouin tent. Following dinner, there will be opportunities for stargazing by a bonfire while sharing stories with fellow travelers. The next day will begin with a traditional Bedouin breakfast before returning to the specified meeting point for your next activity.
