My husband and I visited Punta Arenas de Luna de Honey and booked two tours: a full-day group trip to Torres del Paine and a private full-day tour of Punta Arenas and the Strait of Magellan. We had an enjoyable experience. Gabriel and Juan, who guided the first tour, managed the group well and provided great information. I found the time spent at each viewpoint sufficient, although my husband wished for more time since he loves the cold weather. We even won a plush milodon in a raffle! On the other tour, Luis and his wife were very accommodating and flexible, allowing us to visit some sites of personal interest instead of those we had already seen.

Punta Arenas and Fort Bulnes can be quite windy, so it's advisable to dress in layers, as the cold air can be harsh. I strongly recommend this tour. The fort reconstruction and exhibits provide valuable insights into the challenges of settling this expansive region. The Strait museum is impressive, highlighting the area's ecology, exploration, and settlement. Our guide, Nickolas, was exceptionally knowledgeable and enriched our experience with captivating stories about the establishment and growth of Punta Arenas. We were also given a unique viewpoint, plus we enjoyed a stroll through the town square and the Cemetery of Punta Arenas, where we learned about important historical figures.
The cruise was peaceful, offering breathtaking scenery and sights I never expected to encounter. While aboard the P&O Aurora, the Captain spun the ship a full 360 degrees to fully take in the views.
