01Madagascar is exceptionally unique, unlike any other place on Earth. It boasts an unforgettable landscape, warm people, lush green scenery, and majestic views that one can only dream about. Due to the island's prolonged isolation from neighboring continents, Madagascar is home to diverse plants and animals found nowhere else on our planet. In the absence of monkeys and other competitors, these primates have adapted to a wide range of habitats, resulting in the evolution of numerous species. 10We especially designed this expedition for great explorers. You’ll enter uncharted mountain ranges and conquer some of the highest peaks of the Great Island. It is sport of course, but nothing too technical, and a good shape must come with a good state of mind as well. TOUR HIGLIGHT - The Andringitra Park - The Tsaranoro Valley and its great cliffs (800m vertical) - Many species of Lemurs
11Today we offer you a day trip to two palaces. The Ambohimanga Rova is a half day-trip out of Antananarivo. It was the home of the first Malagasy king to unite the nation, King Andrianampoinimerina. It’s a fascinating story of murders and conquering and intrigue, the local guides are skilled at telling the story in many languages, and the scenery is very special. The palace was used as a holiday home by subsequent members of the royal family until the last queen was exiled by the French colonial power and some interesting artefacts remain. Return back to Tana for lunch at the Cafe du Musee, and after lunch visit to Palace number 2, the Rova Manjakamiadana… This palace was home to the royal family until exile. It was burned in a politically motivated arson attack in 1995 and is under renovation, nevertheless it is a fascinating story, in an amazing position, with incredible views around the city and rice fields as far as the eye can see.
12Our drivers speaks French and basic English. They know the city and they will choose the best itinerary to save your time. They are trained for this service and the respect of timing. You can also rent the vehicle for a day tour in Antananarivo, visit Ambohimanga Rova or Lemurs Park as extended service.
