Reviews
Aude is an excellent guide who shares a wealth of information about Annecy. She also provided useful suggestions for additional activities and dining options.
The tour was outstanding. Our guide was not only knowledgeable but also very friendly. We appreciated that it lasted just two hours, allowing us to get a feel for the village and still have time for our own exploration.
Slay was an outstanding guide who offered great historical insights about the sights we visited. The two-hour tour was an ideal introduction to this lovely and remarkable town.
We found this tour to be somewhat disappointing. At over $500 for just 2 hours for two people, it felt overpriced, but it was the only private option available on our chosen day. Our guide, Slay, was friendly and spoke English well. He was accommodating and showed us around, helping us get acquainted with the old city, which was a positive aspect. However, some of the information he provided turned out to be incorrect, which was disappointing. He also met us at our hotel due to a mix-up regarding the starting location. What left a bad impression was his mention at the end of the tour that his tip was not included, which felt like he was pushing for a tip after we already paid a significant amount for the brief tour. If the price were lower, this experience might have been worthwhile, but spending over $500 for such a short period means you could easily explore the old town using a guidebook and map.
