This tour was fantastic! There was a wonderful selection of food options, and Carolyn was an excellent storyteller. Having participated in over 15 food tours across Europe and several in the U.S., I can confidently say this one is in my Top 5. Great work!
The information provided was intriguing, although the experience felt lengthy compared to the number of sites visited; it seemed we could have explored more ground. The food was quite decent. I enjoyed the first two stops, Red Red Wine and Harry Browne’s, while the third stop served a dish that was a bit too rich (pasta with cream sauce and crab). The lemon sorbet dessert was excellent. Having visited Annapolis multiple times, my expectations may have been elevated.
Caroline was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and the food was fantastic. We’ve already decided on the restaurants we want to revisit!
The town is both historic and tasty. There’s plenty of walking involved, with some great historic dining spots. Overall, it was a lot of fun and a cool place to explore.
Carolyn was charming and well-informed about both the historic and modern aspects of Annapolis. I'm considering bringing my family from out of town to visit during the holidays.
Carolyn was excellent. She provided us with a wealth of historical information and introduced us to three fantastic restaurants. We gained a solid understanding of the city's layout and history. Our group of ten was ideal.
Our experience with Carolyn was fantastic. She was well-informed about Annapolis's history and made the tour enjoyable. The food was excellent, particularly the cream of crab soup. I appreciated that we enjoyed food while learning about the history during the walk; it kept us from feeling overly full. I would suggest this to anyone visiting the area as it's an excellent way to discover more about it.
An excellent way to explore Annapolis. Our guide, Carolyn, was lively, enthusiastic, and well-informed. She had a genuine passion for the city. Just a heads up, she walks and talks quickly. Our first food stop was Red Red wine, which had a fascinating origin story, but the pizza stole the show. I enjoyed a wine flight (extra charge) that was delightful. Be aware that although we arrived hungry for a 1:00 pm tour, our first bite didn't happen until nearly 2:00 pm, and I was feeling a bit hangry at that point. The second stop was Harry Browne’s, where the crab bisque was amazing—rich, but truly delicious. The calamari was fine, but I wished for a different pairing. Our third stop was Luna Blu, featuring a captivating story and excellent pasta. I also had a wine flight there, but it felt a bit excessive for the time allowed. The dessert was a decadently rich chocolate mousse. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, lasting almost 4 hours with about 3 miles of walking. The churches, buildings, inns, and more were all really interesting. I highly recommend this tour.
This tour was fantastic, with delicious food and wonderful company. Our guide was friendly and well-informed, sharing plenty of interesting historical insights.
Our experience was disappointing as we only went to three restaurants, with two being Italian. This really doesn’t showcase the true variety of the local Annapolis culinary scene.
