We arrived an hour early at the address provided, which was just a red house with a gravel lot. However, when we showed up at 7:55, just five minutes before the meeting time, there was no one present. We wandered around, trying to get help from people and GPS, which was confusing us by suggesting we were there while taking us in circles. Since two streets had the same name and address, we could have really used specific directions—like that the meeting point was an upstairs room in a restaurant. By the time we found the second address, it was indeed a restaurant, but most of the staff were unaware of the ghost tour. At 8:30, a tall male waiter finally pointed us upstairs, but the empty room revealed that the tour had already left.
I traveled for an hour to join the tour, but parking was a nightmare due to the crowd. I struggled to locate the tour guide, and after waiting for 15 minutes, I discovered it wasn't the right person and that my tour had already departed. There was no refund offered and I missed the tour entirely.
This ghost tour was both enjoyable and insightful. Kat, our guide, showed a true passion for the topic that was infectious. It was a delightful way to explore historic Annapolis and discover its supernatural tales.
