This five-hour scenic tour departs from Åndalsnes and winds through the picturesque landscapes of the Rauma and Isterdal Valleys. The route follows the salmon-rich Rauma River, stopping for photos at the Troll Wall, known as Europe’s highest vertical rock face. You'll then continue into Isterdal Valley and ascend the famous Trollstigen road, which features 11 hairpin bends and offers stunning views at its summit.
At the top, enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and cascading Stigfossen waterfall. Your guide will share insights about the Trollstigen region's history and natural wonders. Be aware that if the Trollstigen road is closed, an alternative route will take you to the Troll Wall and Slettafossen waterfall instead.

We spent an enjoyable day with Alex, who provided a wealth of information. The weather was excellent. Although we were informed about the closure of the Troll road, the team arranged a stop at a camp area in the same valley. While we would have preferred the Troll road, we understand the rock fall closure is beyond their control.
Be aware that the Trollstigen has been fully closed since June 2024, yet this tour is still being advertised. It would be better to rename the tour and provide an updated description of the alternative route.
The views were stunning, and the tour guide provided a lot of useful information. The bus driver was also excellent. However, the stops at three gift shops felt excessive; two of them could have been omitted.
Everything went smoothly on this tour! The guide and driver were excellent, and I appreciated having sufficient time to take photos at all the stops.
This was the best trip I’ve ever had. Our guide, Alexander, was wonderful and drove us safely in the mini bus to the troll trail and the troll wall. These are truly magical places.
