The views were absolutely breathtaking, with plenty of spots to stop for photos. We arrived from the cruise ship, just a brief walk away, and found this much more affordable than booking with Cunard. Although our trip was scheduled for 10am, they kindly rescheduled it to 1pm due to the fog. This is definitely a must-do.
This tour was incredibly enjoyable and offered stunning scenery. It was certainly one of the highlights of my entire trip, featuring excellent equipment and breathtaking views.
This excursion was truly exceptional. The scenery during our descent from the glacial lake to the port was breathtaking. The customer service was outstanding. I highly recommend it.
This excursion was among our favorites, with stunning views and a lot of fun going downhill. There was just a short part where we had to pedal a bit uphill.
This experience was incredible. Be prepared for varying weather and consider bringing a jacket. The VIP shuttle takes you to the snow-covered drop-off point where you collect your bike helmet, gloves, and vest. The uphill drive is lengthy but don’t worry; the descent on the two-lane road is exhilarating. Just stay alert for tour buses and sharp turns. Utilize your map to explore side roads and rural dirt paths, and make sure to pause for photos of the stunning views.
This was an incredible experience, though it's not suitable for the faint-hearted, children, or inexperienced cyclists. The descent covers 1000 m (3383 ft) over 17 km from the mountains to Geiranger, featuring some areas with grades over 10%. The journey lasted about 1.5 hours, with ample opportunities for photos. It was quite cold at the top, but temperatures rose as we descended. While not overly challenging, it felt a bit nerve-wracking to go quickly on a narrow, winding road with several blind 180-degree turns. What a thrill!
The drive up was very informative, and the bike ride down was truly amazing. The service provided was excellent, making it a fantastic adventure. I highly recommend this experience.
The ride down was stunning, equipped with great bikes and feeling completely secure. It is on the pricier side, but it offers a one-of-a-kind experience along the scenic winding road.
The downhill bike ride in Geiranger, Norway was truly fantastic. Make sure to take your time and soak in the stunning views. The bikes were superb and very manageable. I highly suggest this experience; it was the best part of our shore excursions.
This was a fantastic experience for our group of three who arrived directly from our cruise ship, with just a short walk to the office. We were taken by minibus to the top of a large lake to pick up our bikes. The bikes were all relatively new and in excellent condition, clearly well-maintained, and they provided safety gear like helmets, gloves, and high-visibility vests. While they label it as downhill biking, those accustomed to mountain biking should note that the route descends from 1,000 meters down to the fjord, primarily on the road. This might seem less exciting, but we still spent two hours covering the 17 km, pausing frequently for photos and to admire waterfalls. The views were stunning, particularly with the fast jets passing through the valley. The ride is extremely easy, requiring little pedaling as it's downhill on a smooth road, although it may not be suitable for small children due to traffic. We had a great time and would definitely book again; the staff was very friendly and multilingual.
