The winery is stunning and quite charming. Unfortunately, Viator failed to inform them about our scheduled tour, leaving the hosts unprepared. Yet, the owner, whose name I can't recall, made a commendable effort to accommodate us on short notice. Still, I feel we didn't get the complete experience. Improvements are needed in Viator's booking process.
A historic winery nestled in the Ancona hills, where the warm and welcoming owners guide you through their local wines. Tasting in the cellar surrounded by ancient barrels offers a unique experience for both sight and taste. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed a truly unique experience. We arrived a day early, but Marlina, the wonderful interpreter, assured us it was no problem. The staff just needed a minute to prepare. As someone who lives in Umbria and has a cellar of over 400 bottles, I had to visit the oldest winery in Marche, and it was a fun ride. The people were fantastic; during the two-hour tasting, Chris, the owner, shared amazing stories about his family's wine-making history. I appreciate the unscheduled private tasting and leaving with six cases of your delicious wine. When I return, we definitely need to open the 1974 to see how it has aged.
This location is stunning, rich in history, and the friendly locals enhance the experience significantly. The wine is exceptional, and we're sending some back home. Don't miss the olive oil.
The winery is stunning and has a fascinating history. The wine and pairings were delightful, and the staff were extremely friendly. We enjoyed our visit and bought several bottles to take home.
I regret to say that what we experienced was not a true tasting. Coming from a region known for wine, I looked forward to exploring new products. Upon arrival, a woman greeted us and quickly provided a brief overview of the cellar before we moved to the tanks, which lasted no more than ten minutes. We were then seated at tables set up for an upcoming event and began with the first wine served in a small cup that was not suitable for tasting, filled almost to the top. This was paired with old-looking croutons drizzled with their own oil. The explanation was minimal, and then the woman left us for an unaccounted time, later returning with a colleague to serve the second and third wines simultaneously. We received a chopping board and some stale bread but were left unattended again. For €30, this was an outrageous fee for a disappointing experience that I would never choose again. I voiced my concerns, but the lady simply apologized, stating she wasn’t a sommelier.
We experienced a tour and tasting at this intriguing winery, enjoying fantastic wine in a dreamy setting. As the only guests that evening, we savored the sounds of crickets among the ancient barrels at dusk. It was wonderful. We definitely prepared for the long winter by stocking up. A special mention to the very kind staff! We've already scheduled another tour for late August.
Chia truly loves what she does, showcasing her passion, dedication, and preparation. I really appreciated the fantastic Verdicchio and the bruschetta paired with quality oil. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
The staff was incredibly organized and well-prepared. I want to give a special shoutout to Laura for her support during this experience. Thank you, and I look forward to our next visit.
This tasting experience is incredibly romantic and takes place in a magical setting filled with excellent wines and delicious oils, surrounded by ancient barrels and a delightful atmosphere. A special thanks to our guide, Laura, whose charm enhanced this unforgettable experience.
