Our family recently visited the Vatican for a second time, but this experience was not as good as our first tour, which had a much better guide in terms of demeanor and pacing. The guide for this tour arrived 20 minutes late, leading to a hurried experience. Over the last 20 years, we have taken several tours, but this was the first time many in our group openly expressed their dissatisfaction. Additionally, I recommend booking an early morning tour with other operators to steer clear of the large crowds.
