We took part in a tour arranged by the Basecamp523 team during the Frasassi Climbing festival. Marco, Silvia, Andrea, and Alessandro were highly professional, providing detailed explanations of the route tailored to our abilities and configuring the e-bikes to suit us. This was my second excursion with Marco, and I highly recommend the Ghost Town tour. It's great for first-time visitors to the Marche and for locals, like me, who haven't explored certain areas. This bike tour exceeded all expectations. I sought an e-bike introduction for my girlfriend, and this turned out to be the best option available. Marco organized a truly amazing day for us. We rode on modern electric bikes, which made exploring so easy. He showed us stunning views and remarkable sights. While some cycling was tough, Marco provided excellent guidance and support, making sure we enjoyed ourselves. The lunch was fantastic, and he even found spots for us to pick fresh figs along the route. Great coffee and meeting his family and dogs made us feel very at home in this beautiful region of Italy. This experience comes with my highest recommendation. Our family of five, with kids aged 13 to 22, had an amazing day. We cycled through stunning landscapes, swam in the river, explored a charming church, and returned home thoroughly tired. Marco was an excellent guide, and the electric bikes provided were top-notch and a lot of fun.
This experience was truly remarkable. Marco was friendly and well-informed about the sites, ensuring we felt comfortable and went at our own pace. While I opted to walk some of the steeper descents, the E-bike allowed me to keep up with my boyfriend and dad, who are seasoned mountain bikers. It's a full day of biking, so having bike shorts is advisable, but the provided helmets were clean and comfortable. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our trip.
