Ancona is a lovely small hillside town. Our guide, Gabriela, was engaging and eager to share her hometown with us. Although navigating with a wheelchair posed some challenges, Gabriela's assistance and regular breaks allowed us to reach Ancona Cathedral, where we explored the church and took in the scenery. We also had chances to see ancient Roman ruins throughout the city. This tour comes highly recommended.

We began by mingling with locals in a vibrant area, then walked along the beautiful Boulevard on Via Della Vittoria to the East Coast, where we visited the Caduti Monument and Passetto beaches. Sara introduced us to a local vendor at a weekend market, where we chatted and bought some local sausage, cheese, and bread, enjoying all over a glass of wine. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Our tour progressed through Ancona's Old Town, where we discovered historic sites and layers of history that we would have missed without Sara’s guidance.
