• Departure is set for either 5:00 or 6:00 am from any location in Amman. The journey via the desert highway to Petra takes about 3 hours. Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985 and recognized as one of the 7 wonders of the world, is situated 230 kilometers from Amman. This ancient city was carved into rock more than 2,000 years ago to control trade routes in ancient Arabia. Visitors can explore its towns, dams, and water channels, as well as walk through the narrow Siq, which serves as the main entrance to the city. Additional notable sites include The Monastery and the Altar of Sacrifice. At 9:00 am, arrival at the Visitor Center in Petra occurs. Guests must purchase a ticket unless they possess a Jordan Pass, which can be presented either in printed form or on a mobile device. Participants will take a guided tour of Petra for approximately 3 to 4 hours. By 12:00 pm, departure toward the Dead Sea begins via the Namalel back road, requiring about 3 hours. A stop for a panoramic photo will be made along the high mountains leading to Wadi Arabah road after about 40 km. Along the route, there are several interesting places, including the cave of Prophet Lot and the museum at the world’s lowest point. At the entry point to the Dead Sea, there will be a brief stop lasting 5 to 10 minutes for photographs of the Dead Sea salt formations. By 3:00 pm, arrival at the Dead Sea resort hotel allows access to amenities including beach areas, pools, Dead Sea mud, cold water, and an open lunch buffet with vegetarian options. Guests can enjoy the Dead Sea and swim for roughly 2 to 3 hours, concluding around 6:00 pm. The trip back to Amman takes about one hour, returning to the original pickup location. Arrival in Amman city is expected by 7:00 pm.
