• The King Abdullah I Mosque, featuring blue domes, was established in the 1980s by King Hussein in memory of his grandfather and permits entry for Non-Muslim visitors. The nave spans 1,615 m2 and accommodates 3,000 worshippers. It has an octagonal design and is notable for its lack of interior pillars. The dome, measuring 35 m in diameter and standing 31 meters high, is topped with a golden star surrounded by the Ninety Nine Most Beautiful Names of Allah. A chandelier with 168 lanterns arranged in three circles displays Quranic verses featuring the name Allah on each lantern. The mosque’s floor is covered with a red carpet made from ornamental fabric designed to guide worshippers towards the Kiblah, while the walls, including the Kiblah, pulpit, and Mihrab, are decorated with wooden and marble panels. • Jabal al-Qala is among Amman's seven mountains, historically significant as the center of Ammonite power, later occupied by the Greeks, Romans, and Byzantines until the Islamic conquest in the 7th century AD, which saw the construction of the Umayyad Palace on its summit. Mount Qalaa emerged as the capital for the Ammonites. • The Roman Amphitheatre, situated in Amman's eastern region at the base of Mount Jufa across from the Amman Castle, was dedicated to Emperor Antonius Pius, as indicated by Greek inscription on one of its pillars, and dates back to 130 AD. • Explore the old city center and AL-Husseini Mosque. • The Jordan Museum is located in the vibrant Ras al-‘Ayn downtown area. It showcases Jordan's history and cultural heritage through a series of artistically designed galleries, serving as a national center for education that reflects the Kingdom’s past, present, and future in an engaging and informative manner. • For those interested in history and automobiles, the museum features a collection of cars and motorcycles owned by King Abdullah I, King Talal, and King Hussein, highlighting the evolution of automotive history from 1916 to present, with a variety of classic vehicles linked to the royal family. The museum provides electronic narration in Arabic, English, Spanish, French, and German, along with a kids' narration in Arabic.
