• A 200-meter-long tunnel constructed in 1896, historically used for transporting minerals from nearby mines. • Concesión San Manuel (1870–1942), an important mining site where valuable minerals were extracted from 1870 to 1942, highlighting the region's industrial history. The route includes passage through the San Manuel Tunnel, built in 1902, with a maximum height between 1.30 and 1.60 meters, following a direct, elevated path. Along this path, small caves and a historic iron ore loading station can be seen, leading to the Puente Barranco de La Prarda viaduct where Jeeps will be ready for you. Note: No physical endurance is needed for this route, as it is mostly flat. The views are stunning. • The "Hoyo Júpiter" (Jupiter Pit) is a significant man-made shaft in Bédar, formed by extensive iron ore mining around 1910. Its depth and size are remnants of considerable mining operations at that time, serving as an important symbol of the region’s industrial legacy and a highlight along the Ruta Minerva. Excellent views can be observed from the viewpoint. Children should remain inside the vehicle. • Buddhist Center – Rigdzin Namkha Dzong, Bédar Located in the calm mountains of Bédar, Rigdzin Namkha Dzong – Orgyen Khandro Ling serves as a spiritual retreat center founded by Namkha Rinpoche's students, attracting practitioners globally. The tour offers a lovely view of this tranquil center, allowing a moment to appreciate its serene ambiance, contrasting with the rugged mining history of the area. • Bédar – Charming Mountain Village & Tapas Experience In the beautiful mountain village of Bédar, the tour stops at a traditional Spanish tapas bar, where guests can select 2 tapas and a drink each, embodying Andalusian hospitality. After this enjoyable break, the return journey will lead back to the starting point where the tour concludes. From there, transportation will be provided back to your original pickup location.
