I had an excellent trip to Tipaza with my guide Raouf. We enjoyed lunch at a fish restaurant in the town center, then visited the Roman ruins with another local guide who was arranged by Raouf and included in the cost. When my flight was canceled, I reached out to Raouf and the Raya team, and they were very accommodating and supportive. They spoke good English. In summary, it was a fantastic experience.
Our tour was originally set for 8am, but our flight from Paris was canceled due to bad weather, causing us to miss our hotel stay and subsequent flight to Algeria. We contacted the Algerian tour company to see if there was a possibility of rescheduling the tour, and they kindly adjusted our booking. We hadn't eaten anything yet, and despite the delay, they took the time to bring us for a typical meal. Our guide Ahmed provided a thorough explanation of Tipaza's history. Although it rained heavily, he lent my husband a raincoat, and the weather did not hinder our itinerary at all.
Exploring the Roman ruins of Tipaza was a wonderful experience; the historical site offers breathtaking views of the sea. The visit was enjoyable and insightful regarding the area's history. We also dined at a seaside restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious fish dish in a relaxing setting. I appreciate the organization and professionalism of Riwaya Travel.
