The cruise was an excellent experience for my daughter and me during our special date night. Would we do it again? Definitely, but preferably when it's dry outside. The views were stunning, and the crew ensured everything was clean and comfortable. We tried the nachos, which were fantastic, and I enjoyed a great sex on the beach cocktail. The restrooms were spacious and well-maintained, which was a plus. I also think adding bingo or trivia games would enhance the fun. Listening to the area's history was enjoyable too. I highly recommend this activity.
My wife and I enjoyed the Ship of Fools sailing with Dutch Apple Cruises. As always, the crew was friendly and attentive. The ship was well-maintained, the food was tasty, the weather was pleasant, and the music was enjoyable. Thank you, Henry.
Boarding the boat at 6:30 was as promised. The initial part of the cruise featured great narration about the river that was easy to hear. The latter half included music, played at a perfect volume. Waitstaff provided food and drink service throughout. Overall, it was a fantastic way to enjoy the evening.
The experience was both poetic and reflective, connecting emotions with nature. The rising wind and waves near the water generated a mix of feelings, with memories of the Baltic sea. It became an interesting way to spend a typically dull weekend in Albany, NY, where entertainment options are quite limited. The cost was reasonable at around $30, plus food and drinks. The service was commendable, and cleanliness standards should be upheld everywhere, including Albany International Airport. Despite the windy and rainy weather, I enjoyed the freshness, although the live music was merely a local broadcast, lacking the lively interactions I remembered from previous years.
The scenery was incredible, and I even spotted a couple of eagles. The music was outstanding, and I really appreciated the venue. Looking forward to the next time.
A pleasant and soothing river cruise. The staff was friendly, the boat was clean, and the live music added to the enjoyable experience.
The evening cruise on July 4th offered fantastic food, wonderful music, and a great atmosphere. It was enjoyable for everyone I spoke to. My girlfriend agrees; we'd definitely do it again.
My mother and I participated in the Irish music ride, and at 85, she was well taken care of. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and both the staff and other guests were fantastic. I'm looking forward to another experience next summer, health permitting.
I thoroughly enjoyed the journey. There’s an old song titled "Taking the Night Boat to Albany." It would be wonderful if a local museum organized a special tour featuring musicians playing period music, encouraging attendees to dress in 1920s attire. The song "Why Do They All Take the Night Boat to Albany?" was created for the 1918 musical Sinbad and was performed by Al Jolson during that era, with a notable recording date of April 29, 1918. The music is by Jean Schwartz, while the lyrics are by Sam M. Lewis and Joe Young.
We enjoyed the twilight sunset cruise and were impressed by the quality of the band. Our dog accompanied us and felt quite at ease. The ship was a lovely three-decker, and we comfortably moved indoors to the first deck when it got cooler.
