• Pickup from your hotel in the morning will commence, followed by a drive of approximately 50 miles to Lothal, taking about an hour and a half. In Lothal, you can visit the remnants of this historically significant city known for its beads, gems, and jewelry. The archaeological site features a well-planned township with an underground drainage system and a marketplace that still exist. The dockyard serves as evidence of the maritime connections of this ancient society. You will observe the extensive use of kiln-fired bricks, an important development achieved here. After your exploration of Lothal, a local restaurant will provide an included lunch (beverages not included). Following lunch, proceed to the nearby location of Uthellya, where you will have the opportunity to walk through the excavated ruins of this ancient town, which were uncovered in 1920. The tour concludes with a return drive to Ahmedabad, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
