• Pickup from your hotel or any location in Ahmedabad at 4am, followed by transfer to Ahmedabad Airport for a flight to New Delhi, departing around 6am. • Arrival at New Delhi Airport is at 8:30am, followed by a 3-hour drive to Agra via the Yamuna Express Highway. • Upon reaching Agra, visit the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This iconic structure features stunning domes and minarets and represents the enduring love story of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and his wife, Queen Mumtaz Mahal. (Note: the Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.) • Depending on guest preferences, a visit to Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, can be arranged. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D., this extensive red sandstone fort showcases a blend of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. The fort's courtyards, mosques, and private chambers tell the story of the Mughal Empire. • If time allows, shopping in Agra is an option, known for its exquisite handicrafts including marble inlay work, leather goods, brass items, carpets, jewelry, and embroidery. Empress Nur Jahan, an accomplished artist, was particularly interested in these crafts. • After completing the Agra tour, you will be taken back to Delhi Airport for your return flight to Ahmedabad. • Once back in Ahmedabad, you will be collected from the airport and transported to your hotel.
