This full-day tour takes you on an amphibious vehicle, the LARC, through four waterways and along the beautiful Eurimbula National Park. The itinerary includes a visit to Queensland's only open lighthouse, where you can explore the keeper's cottage museum and hear fascinating local stories, including those from the cemetery. Morning tea and lunch, along with billy tea or coffee, are provided throughout the day.
After lunch, the adventure continues to the soaring 35-metre sand dunes for some thrilling sandboarding and opportunities to swim. Keep an eye out for local wildlife as the day wraps up with light-hearted tales from your guides against the backdrop of a pastel-hued sunset.

We had an exceptional time on the 1770 LARC tour. The unique experience of traveling in the LARC over land and water is something we'll always cherish. Our guides, Kev and Jono, were fantastic, blending friendliness and humor with extensive knowledge, making the entire trip both entertaining and informative. The scenery along the way was gorgeous, complemented by engaging commentary, and the stop at the lighthouse was a highlight, offering stunning views and fascinating history about the area. This tour beautifully combined adventure, history, and relaxation, and we highly recommend it to anyone in 1770.
This experience was truly enjoyable. The guides were not only knowledgeable but also charming. I appreciated the history lessons, the engaging stories, and the fun of having the best ride in town.
We had an amazing experience on the Full Day 1770 LARC tour. The skipper and Warren provided us with entertaining stories, interesting facts, and stunning views. The day was a perfect mix of history, humor, enjoyable activities, and delicious food for both morning tea and lunch.
Great experience with a fantastic company! Our guides, Whitey and Jono, truly made the day enjoyable for everyone. Given the value you receive, the affordable price is very reasonable. I suggest bringing along a book or two, just like we did!
This full-day tour is fantastic, offering breathtaking views along the way. The guides, Whitey and Jono, share numerous entertaining stories that enhance the experience.
Seeing the lighthouse I had read about in "Lighthouse of Tragedy" was a dream come true, and taking the LARC was the perfect choice. Our guide, Paul, provided great insights on local wildlife and the area's historical geography. Our skipper not only led the lighthouse tour but also shared entertaining stories and introduced us to Vivienne. This experience was one of the best tours I've ever had, offering excellent value, breathtaking scenery, and rich history. A true bucket list adventure, topped off with a wonderful lunch.
The transportation was distinctive, and the scenery was breathtaking. The adventure was enhanced by an excellent guide.
This experience is perfect for families. The beautiful scenery, informative commentary, and well-organized activities made for a fun-filled day, especially the sandboarding. Our large family group, including very young kids, all had an wonderful time. Thank you, Larc! Tours.
This trip far exceeded our expectations in every way. The lighthouse visit and sand tobogganing were incredibly fun. Thank you very much for an amazing and entertaining full day.
What an amazing day! Being part of a smaller group was wonderful, but Tristan and Jonno truly enhanced the experience. The scenery was beautiful, the information was insightful, and I've made many memories. I would definitely recommend this.
