My day at Lady Musgrave Island was wonderful. The crew was really friendly and accommodating, and the tour was well-structured. We were split into two smaller groups for the activities, which made everything more enjoyable. The food provided was delicious and plentiful, ensuring everyone was satisfied. Snorkeling was the best part for me; we encountered a variety of fish and spotted six turtles, which was an amazing experience.
Amazing value overall. The boat ride, food, and experiences like snorkeling, the glass-bottom boat, and island walks made for an unforgettable day filled with lifelong memories.
Extremely disappointing. The activity was cancelled on the day because of mechanical problems. I would be more forgiving if this hadn't also happened last year during my attempt. It's frustrating to waste hours at the marina with little communication. A complete waste of time and very disrespectful.
The crew was attentive, ensuring everyone was comfortable and satisfied. The ample food was delicious. Although the journey to the island was a bit rough for some, the caring crew provided excellent service. The small island, paired with insights from our knowledgeable guide during the walk, made the trip worthwhile. We spotted a few turtles, and on our way back, we were delighted by a mother whale and her calf putting on a show. This unique experience capped off a fantastic day. Kudos to the 1770reef team for an amazing outing.
This tour was excellent. It was engaging, enjoyable, and well-structured, providing access to places that are usually off-limits. Kudos to everyone involved.
It was an excellent day at Lady Musgrave Island, highlighted by snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef. The crew was outstanding, the food was enjoyable, and the experience was very relaxing. With a two-hour journey to the island, there were flexible choices to explore the island or snorkel as much as you wanted, making it great for beginners.
The tour offered ample assistance and delicious food, with staff members being friendly and cheerful throughout. We enjoyed the island tour, the glass bottom boat experience, and snorkeling, where we saw plenty of marine life, including turtles, fish, and a school of squid.
An excellent experience for the whole family. The staff was professional, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. We enjoyed 2.5 hours at sea for snorkeling, with ample time for breaks. We spotted corals, numerous fish, and sea turtles. Throughout the trip, we were served coffee, tea, fruit, lunch (including bread, cheese, and sausage), and cakes. It was all worth the cost. Thank you for a wonderful day.
What an incredible day. We started early to match the tides and then headed out to the reef. There was ample time for a guided island tour, where the birdlife was stunning, followed by a glass bottom boat tour that built anticipation for snorkeling. Snorkeling was amazing, with a vast array of fish, plenty of coral, and even turtles. Everything was visible just a few meters from the boat, and there was significant support for those who were less confident in the water. This trip truly offered something for everyone. Lunch was enjoyable, with lots of space to relax inside and outside. It was a very pleasurable experience, largely thanks to the wonderful crew. The photos don’t capture how fantastic it was.
The day trip to Lady Musgrave Island was well worth it. Although the boat ride was a bit rough, leading to some seasickness, the calm arrival made up for it. We divided into groups for easier management and enjoyed fantastic snorkeling with plenty of turtles and large fish near the pontoon. The viewing area was excellent. While lunch was good, we felt a bit hurried for the island tour. The staff were outstanding, consistently ensuring passenger comfort, and the water temperature was a pleasant 27 degrees. The cost for the couple was $541, and there were 82 people on the cruise.
