The tour provided a fantastic experience with a small group of just three plus another couple. Initially, it was a bit unclear where to meet as the guide arrived at the scheduled time in front of a theatre in a large square. Nevertheless, Julia excelled in showcasing numerous local attractions, sharing the history of the charming city, and highlighting details we might have missed otherwise. Her knowledge was impressive, and she tailored the tour according to our interests and inquiries. She also ensured we stayed on schedule, as we needed to return to the cruise ship earlier than usual, concluding the tour at a convenient location for easy access.
The guide arrived slightly after 10:00, which seemed unusual to us as we expected her to be there earlier. Having lived in Aarhus for only six months, she primarily read from her cell phone, resembling an audio guide but in German. When asked questions, she struggled to provide clear answers and often changed the subject. Honestly, we could have managed on our own with the city map given to us at the port.
I had a great experience on this tour with my partner. For cruise passengers like us, these tours are perfect since they begin right after the ship docks and let you discover the city in a brief period.
I was disappointed that the tour did not include access to the cathedral or theater, despite the description mentioning that it would.
Giulia was an exceptional tour guide! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating; I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
We had a great time on this walk with Giulia, who was both very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about Aarhus's history. We highly recommend this walking tour.
Our time in Arhus was limited to a single day as we arrived by ship. Julia provided us with an outstanding tour, sharing valuable insights about the key attractions. She even offered insider tips for the remainder of our day. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend.
Giulia was an excellent guide who made our excursion enjoyable for everyone in the group. Her deep knowledge of the city and its history, along with her enthusiasm for Aarhus, truly stood out. I would definitely recommend her to friends as a tour guide. She was fantastic.
This is an excellent way to experience the city, especially if you're short on time. Our guide was fantastic, and we gained so much knowledge while enjoying the beautiful views. Highly recommended.
If you're considering a tour in Aarhus, exploring the city with Ivette is an excellent choice. Her warm and clear communication makes it feel like you're wandering with someone who genuinely enjoys and knows the area. She effectively weaves history and culture with personal stories, enhancing engagement. The tour includes both iconic landmarks and hidden gems, enriching the experience. The pace is relaxed and inviting, allowing for interaction, questions, and helpful recommendations for further exploration. Overall, it's a well-organized tour that's perfect for anyone looking to grasp the true essence of Aarhus rather than just a superficial view. This is a highly recommended addition to your itinerary.
