2A unique, bio diverse and sustainable area next to Kolkata is what you will explore.Your cycling trip will start with a 3 km city ride till the green eye candy of Kolkata, known as the East Kolkata Wetlands which has practically no pollution and vehicles. This area though open to public is practically unexplored even by the local citizens. It has its unique natural beauty being next to the town but yet an atmosphere of a Nature holiday. After travelling through hamlets you will love the winding roads with fish ponds and green trails. The views and atmosphere will be a nature lovers paradise. You will also be practically explained why Kolkata is one of the most economic cities due to the wetlands. The ride will last 3 hours depending on your speed and we will have a hot cup of local tea in the wetlands. This is a part of Kolkata which even the locals are not aware as it cannot be navigated on Vehicles. You will get this unique opportunity to explore the cycling trails.
3Get set for Kolkata’s finest food tour. Greet your guide and take the subway up to the intellectual heart of the city. Here the Bengal revolutionary fighter Subhas Chandras Bose is more famous than Gandhi and the people are passionate about their rights and independence, not to mention their food. The evening starts at a little street vendor that blends up one of the district's best tropical lasses. Afterwards, you'll hop from spot to spot tasting some fine Bengali fare - prawns covered in fragrant coconut milk curry, onion bahjis from a revolutionary food stand, succulent mutton kosha and a range of Bengali sweets to name just a few. Finish at one of the oldest colonial coffee houses in Kolkata where nearby university students descend for intellectual discussions.
4Oral accounts and letters say that literally, the vagabonds from across the seas came to make a fortune here. Darjeeling Tea furnished them more than they could imagine. The intangible quality of craftsmanship and skilled labour behind the success of this drink will make you envious to live their life for a day. Experience behind the scenes of Darjeeling Tea like no other. Tea Pluckers' Day is an extensive activity starting in the morning from the guests' hotel. We would drive to a tea garden/tea estate far away from the town to explore the opportunity of spending a whole day, i.e., breakfast to evening tea like a tea plucker at the garden does. We have mentioned a list of our partner tea gardens and depending on the real-time availability, we take our travellers to one of them. We serve a packed breakfast with fresh fruits and organic Darjeeling Tea. A Tea Garden tour, Forest Hike, Tea Factory Visits, A Walk through the Estate, Tea Tasting, Lunch, etc. are highlights of the tour.
