Nehru Zoological Park
Hyderabad, India

Nehru Zoological Park is a sprawling 380-acre reserve in Hyderabad, established in the 1960s and designed to be a more natural habitat for its animals. It houses over a thousand species, including tigers, lions, and various birds, all set amidst lush greenery and dotted with walking paths for visitors.
Plan for at least three to four hours to explore the exhibits, especially the open safari areas that allow for closer encounters with certain animals. Early mornings or late afternoons tend to be more pleasant, and the park is located near the historic Mir Alam Tank, offering additional opportunities for exploration.
