Valluvar Kottam

Valluvar Kottam is a cultural monument dedicated to the Tamil poet-saint Thiruvalluvar, built in the 1970s as a tribute to his literary contributions. The centerpiece is a striking 6-metre tall statue of Thiruvalluvar, situated within an intricately designed stone chariot and surrounded by carvings depicting his famous work, the Thirukkural.
